This workshop is intended for people who are unfamiliar with or relatively new to using Jmol for molecular visualization. Participants will be introduced to the capabilities of Jmol and some of the ways Jmol is being used. Participants will then use Jmol to build one or more web pages with live 3-D molecules.

Depending upon interest, these pages could involve any level of chemistry from high school through college and any area. No web page design or programming experience necessary. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop.

The $30 fee includes the book, "How to use Jmol to study and present molecular structures (Vol. 1)" by Angel Herráez.

Workshop sponsored in part by the Dallas-Fort Worth Local Section of the American Chemical Society.

Capacity: 24. Fee: $30.
